Winter Club Championship 2007/8
- Qualifications

There will be 6
Winter Championship meetings and :-

Race duration times will be as
follows:-
1st Block : Normal racing times.
2nd Block : 10 mins + 1 lap (Autos 8 mins + 1 lap).
3rd Block :
8 mins + 1 lap.

To qualify for a Trophy you must attend 5 Winter Championship meetings.

Each rider’s best 5 meeting results will be used to calculate Trophy
positions.

In the event that meetings are cancelled the criteria will drop accordingly
i.e.
5 meetings = 4 to count : 4 meetings = 3 to count : 3
meetings = all to count

In the event that less than 3 meetings are run the Winter
Championship will be cancelled.

If a rider upgrades during the Championship only the points
gained in their new class will be used to calculate Trophy positions,
(upgrades take effect from the date the riders licence is signed).

Deciding final places when points are tied :-
-
The winner will be the rider who has scored the highest number of maximum
points in the individual competition rounds. If this does not produce a
result then the second highest number of points will be taken into account
and so on.

If
points scored in all the counting rounds remain equal then the rider with
the highest points in the final round of the competition will be the winner.

Should a tie still remain then the rider with the higher points in the final
race will be the overall winner.

Points will not be taken into
account from rounds that are dropped.
- The Winter Championship is open to non Club Members.
- Holidays, Sickness and Injuries will count
towards attendances PROVIDED the Competition Secretary is advised in WRITING
within 7 days. NB. This concession will NOT be granted retrospectively.
